Warranty Equipment is covered by 1 year warranty that may be extended on request. Under circumstances where equipment needs to be returned to the manufacturer for repair, the turnaround time can be over a week. The equipment supplied by OpenWorld is thoroughly evaluated and tested for quality and resilience and we only represent products with proven error rates under 1%. Swap Out We keep local stocks of the most common configurations as a second level swap out option. It is recommended that clients and resellers buy replacement units to cater for growth needs and first level hot standby. We generally advise that orders include extra units to cater for these needs. Repair Our technical support staff receive training from the manufacturers to the extent that they are able to solve technical problems and perform component level repairs when necessary. Support Desk Our support Desk is open 24/7 with technical and sales staff ready to support our resellers and their clients. Software We provide first line support for software products supplied by OpenWorld. Second line support is provided directly to customers via the manufacturer. Our Solution Partners provide direct support for the software supplied by them.
